The Cognitive Deep Machine (CDM) combines component detectors, temporal evidence, outlier detection, and context rules to check uncertain cues in driver-monitoring videos. In an illustrative case, it uses a hand trusted to be on the steering wheel to relabel the other hand and feed corrected positions into a pose model. The authors report improved pose estimation, not an overall benchmark score.
