About this paper
Stéphane Breuils, Vincent Nozick, Laurent Fuchs, Akihiro Sugimoto
The authors connect three Geometric Algebra representations of quadratic surfaces by extracting ten coefficients of an implicit equation and rebuilding the surface in another representation. This separates construction from later operations. They demonstrate rotating a nine-point ellipsoid in DPGA and report model-based counts: 64 operations for DPGA tangent planes, versus 144 for QCGA line intersections; these counts are not runtime measurements.
