About this paper
Fernando Perez-Cruz, Pablo M. Olmos, Michael Minyi Zhang, Howard Huang
The authors present a time-of-arrival (ToA) localization method that models non-line-of-sight delays and access-point timing errors. Its model uses expectation propagation to reduce the influence of measurements consistent with delays. In LTE Network A, 90th-percentile error was about 150 m for a nonlinear baseline, 72 m for the method, and 40 m with enhanced hearability, across 14 indoor locations.
