About this paper

Qian Luo, Jing Wu, Matthew Gombolay

The authors present DMP*, a system that records human handwriting trajectories and sends them to a physical Fetch robot. It combines truncated Gaussian kernels with a goal-changing dynamic movement primitive formulation. For a two-dimensional letter “a” whose goal moves by 0.1 m, DMP* preserves a similar shape except near the changed tail; this reported example does not establish general performance.
