PredRecon plans image capture for 3D reconstruction of unfamiliar buildings by predicting coarse unseen surfaces from partial maps, then directing coverage toward predicted-but-uncovered areas and selecting local views for multi-view stereo. In AirSim simulations, its Palace measured 213.1 m path length, 252.7 s task time, and 80.13% F-score, versus FUEL’s 371.1 m, 469.8 s, and 39.32%; real-world performance remains untested.
