NS-Extractor extracts one nearby speaker from a mixed recording without a previously enrolled voice. It derives a speaker embedding from the mixture and combines it with time-frequency features, using distance to guide single-speaker selection. In three-speaker simulated tests, it reports 6.82 dB SI-SDRi versus 4.87 for U-Net. These results apply to tested simulated mixtures, not real-room recordings.
