WQMC changes variational quantum Monte Carlo (QVMC) updates of electron-probability distributions by moving probability mass locally, then fitting the result back to the model. For the ten-electron hydrogen chain after 20,000 iterations, WQMC’s local-energy variance is 2.30×10⁻⁴ Ha² versus QVMC’s 1.89×10⁻³; relative energy errors are 3.90×10⁻⁴ and 4.24×10⁻⁴, respectively. These fixed-iteration estimates indicate convergence, not exact solutions or matched-wall-time performance.
