About this paper

Anh Pham Thi Minh, Abhishek Kumar Singh, Soumya Snigdha Kundu

The authors use estimated home-to-work trips between cell towers in Santiago to identify movement-based groups of places. They apply Louvain community detection to network configurations, producing candidate sub-cities rather than validated neighborhoods. At resolution 1.0, the undirected weighted partition is reported as 92.69% similar to six supplied communities, but the metric is undefined and segregation results are not reported.
