About this paper

Koji Aoshima, Martin Servin

The authors compare two physics-based simulators for wheel-loader bucket filling, including a reduced multiscale model that resolves particle motion near the bucket while representing the surrounding soil compactly. They test both against three gravel-loading operations and report about 10% average error (3% standard deviation) across seven measures. G200 runs in real time; these findings apply to the tested setup.
