About this paper
Florian Fürrutter, Gorka Muñoz-Gil, Hans J. Briegel
The authors introduce a diffusion model that generates quantum circuits for specified tasks and gate sets. It denoises encoded example circuits, conditioned on prompts and, for compilation, a target unitary, without comparing generated outputs with targets in the training loss. Using 1,024 candidates per target, it exactly compiled 92.6% of 3,100 held-out three-qubit targets, a result limited to that test.
