About this paper
Jess Stephenson, Nathan T. Duncan, Melissa Greeff
The authors coordinate multirotor landing on a moving surface vessel using distributed model predictive control. Each vehicle steers an intermediate goal and shares goals rather than planned trajectories. A known wave model guides the vessel toward a location with lower average squared tilt and helps time descent. In simulation, Calm lowers tilt before consensus; this is not physical validation.
