BalConpas uses old-class segment assignments to select decoder features for distillation, while leaving other features free to adapt, and adjusts replay training for incomplete annotations. In ADE20K’s 100-10 continual panoptic segmentation protocol, its replay version scores 36.5 PQ on all classes after the final step, versus CoMFormer’s 29.7. This evidence is limited to the specified benchmark and protocol.
