About this paper

Andrew Blinn, Xiang Li, June Hyung Kim, Cyrus Omar

The authors present a language-server method for completing code holes using repository context. It retrieves expected types and related function headers from the typing context, then uses errors to request repairs. In five Hazel MVU applications, GPT-4 test performance was threefold higher with types and headers than with types alone; this targeted benchmark does not establish broader gains.
