About this paper

Takuma Nishimura, Andreea Dogaru, Martin Oeggerli, Bernhard Egger

ArCSEM propagates artist-provided color across views of a pollen scene, reducing the need to color each SEM image. It fits 2D Gaussian Splatting to grayscale views, then uses depth-based color projection and feature correspondence to transfer color to uncolored views. In a five-view comparison, it preserves finer detail than Ref-NPR at reduced resolution; color remains dependent on artist guidance.
