About this paper

Jakob Huhle, Jakob Kaiser, Eric Müller, Johannes Schemmel

The authors use an autoencoder to compress membrane-voltage traces from a four-parameter AdEx neuron emulated on BrainScaleS-2, then apply sequential neural posterior estimation (SNPE) to infer plausible settings. The 1,024-point input is reduced to 32 features. Traces from inferred settings follow the target through the second spike, then diverge; repeats at target settings also diverge.
