The authors model a multi-gate ferroelectric field-effect transistor (FeFET) neuron that processes separate input branches nonlinearly through partial polarization switching before combining them into one output. In Fashion-MNIST co-simulation, a three-branch network reaches the no-dendrite networks’ reported maximum test accuracy, 90.03%, with approximately 17× fewer trainable weights. This result does not demonstrate a complete physical network.
