About this paper
Lanqing Guo, Yufei Wang, Hezhen Hu, Yan Zheng, Yeying Jin, Siyu Huang, Zhangyang Wang
The authors present a 3D Gaussian Splatting editing pipeline that localizes text instructions with 2D diffusion, lifts edit masks into 3D, initializes changed geometry using depth, and refines nearby views sequentially. In comparison with DGE, it takes about 2 minutes versus 4 and reports higher IIS and lower FID, but slightly lower CTIDS; results cover three scenes.
