About this paper

Quang Minh Nguyen, Eytan Modiano

The authors develop MDP to allocate capacity among clients with different service needs, representing each promise as a probability of receiving specified service within a frame while tracking queues for eventual service. In simulation, MDP meets the video target and lowers monitoring delay versus a baseline without QoS, but reports lower utility. These results come from one modeled scenario, not a deployment.
