About this paper
Sebastian Bitzer, Michele Battagliola, Antonia Wachter-Zeh, Violetta Weger
The authors express restricted syndrome decoding as low-degree polynomial constraints and use them in the TCitH and VOLEitH zero-knowledge signature frameworks. The method checks a public syndrome and allowed entries. At category 1, reported signature sizes are 4.4 kB for CROSS-SDP with VOLEitH versus 12.4 kB for CROSS; the ternary setting is 3.1 kB, under selected assumptions and parameters.
