About this paper
Geuntaek Seo, Minseop Shin, Pierre Monmarché, Beomjun Choi
The authors show that simultaneous descent–ascent in a two-player mean-field game converges locally to its mixed Nash equilibrium, without global convexity–concavity. Entropy-regularized dynamics contract exponentially in Wasserstein distance for nearby initial distributions. For a twice-differentiable payoff on a flat torus, the guarantee is local; finite-particle convergence is bounded only over a finite horizon, with an error floor.
