About this paper
Seoksu Lee, Sangjun An, Eun-Sun Cho
Scrambler obfuscates programs by expanding equivalent expressions using mixed Boolean–arithmetic rewriting, which combines arithmetic and Boolean operators without changing results. It stores equivalent forms in an e-graph and applies supplied rules until a stopping condition is met. Reported mean syntax-tree size was 34,786.77 nodes versus 235.22 for MBA Obfuscator; inputs and protocols differed, and resistance was not measured.
