About this paper

Spherical-GOF reconstructs panoramic scenes by extending Gaussian Opacity Fields into spherical ray space, with panorama-aware filtering and geometric regularization. Its depth-normal and depth-jump terms target cross-view consistency. On OmniBlender-Indoor, it lowers depth reprojection error to 0.0169 from SPaGS’s 0.0453 and raises cycle inlier ratio to 90.56 from 73.86; these are consistency proxies, not ground-truth accuracy.
