About this paper
Dor Elimelech, Arda Aydin, Alexander Barg
The authors construct multimode Fock-state quantum codes for photon loss by randomizing the classical simplex indexing that groups photon-number states into logical states, making their loss responses nearly alike. For α=5, the construction has positive asymptotic rate through loss cutoffs δ≤0.15 under uniform sampling and δ≤0.05 under multinomial sampling. Full-channel protection requires γ<δ, and the result is asymptotic existence.
