About this paper
Sylvia Yuan, Dan Wang, Ravi Ramamoorthi, Xinrui Cui
ArtMesh reconstructs articulated objects as connected, part-aware meshes and learns rigid part motion between two observed articulation states. It removes cross-part triangles through per-part remeshing and uses bidirectional motion-consistency losses. On synthetically rendered Articulate-100 with ground-truth semantic maps, it achieves 15.01 mm movable-part Chamfer distance versus 38.43 mm for GaussianArt; ArtGS performs slightly better on aggregate Part Motion.
