COSM coordinates PIM and CPU access to shared DRAM in mobile systems. It makes PIM execution preemptable and schedules commands and transfers in predicted idle windows, separating external-bus and internal-bank transfer stages. In Ramulator2 simulation of modeled LPDDR5, COSM raises PIM throughput by up to 2.8× over Chopim, with average CPU performance 2.0% below standalone; no live-phone test is reported.
