COMB virtual-stains label-free spectral images patch by patch, retrieving neighboring features through local padding and neighbor-aware CBAM while a sliding-window cache bounds memory. On prostate SRS-to-H&E tests, COMB reduced mean FSG to 0.1054 ± 0.026 from 0.2978 ± 0.096 for CC-WSI-Net and raised TexTile to 0.7320 ± 0.066. Evidence remains patch-based, from one-center prostate data.
