About this paper

DA-DLM coordinates masked-token predictions in parallel by assigning candidate groups to output positions and linking neighboring groups, while fixed tokens anchor later rounds. On OpenWebText generation with block size 16 and 12 denoising steps, its MAUVE score was 0.434 versus 0.112 for BD3LM; reported token-throughput quantities are not directly comparable, and the experiments use relatively small models.
