About this paper
Ariel Duschanek-Myers, Thomas Welsh, Helmut Neukirchen
The authors test whether coarse Wi-Fi RSSI readings can drive a pose model trained on CSI measurements without RSSI-specific retraining. They preprocess RSSI before inference in a one-room experiment with one person. After filtering and angular embedding, average confidence during occupancy was roughly 0.8; this is not localization accuracy, and feasibility is shown only in this setup.
