About this paper
Mohamed Hefny, Karthik Dantu, Steven Y. Ko
The authors introduce SLAMSqueezeBench, a benchmark that tests SLAM under resource constraints while frames arrive continuously through a finite buffer that can drop them. It measures resource use, frame loss, pose output, and trajectory error. Similar average CPU use produced different ORB-SLAM3 outcomes; under combined embedded-style limits on one desktop, four of nine systems kept producing poses.
