About this paper
Xingyu Lin, Dehui Du
The authors test failure-triggered repair for document parsing on OmniDocBench v1.5 using a frozen 4B checkpoint. After an ordinary pass, the system detects output collapse, splits flagged pages into regions, and parses them separately. Repair raises Overall by 1.40 points on 180 pages and by 2.41 on 1,175 page-disjoint pages, but some failures remain unrepairable and discovery groups recur in the independent set.
