About this paper
Tengfei Shao, Chao Li, Xu Wang, Masayuki Goto
The authors present an integrated protocol to test whether a generative social simulator reproduces a real market network. It checks parameter recovery, reachability, structural mismatches, targeted repair, and statistics withheld from fitting and repair. In one Japanese resale market, all four cells remain outside the reachability reference; repair lowers Off-Tourist distance from 1.8 to 1.2 times threshold, without establishing adequacy.
