About this paper
H. L. Dao
The hyperbolic restricted Boltzmann machine (HRBM) represents quantum spin-glass ground states using hyperbolic operations for hidden units, while retaining Euclidean visible biases and weights. In matched-parameter comparisons with a standard RBM, it generally lowers energy and Rényi-2 entropy reconstruction errors. At N=24, HRBM errors are 2.8214 × 10⁻⁴ and 2.4120 × 10⁻³, respectively; evidence covers sizes only through N=24.
