Tierkreis coordinates classical HPC tasks and quantum jobs in reusable workflows, adapting executors to dispatch work across schedulers and quantum backends. The authors demonstrate biomolecular calculations and a Fugaku-coordinated workflow using VQE on ibm_kobe and QPE on Quantinuum’s Reimei. For a 4×4 Ising model, combined hardware estimation is closer to exact than VQE alone; no hardware product-start comparison is reported.
