About this paper

CacheBack lets collaborating language-model agents select sender state for a receiver’s request rather than generate a report or transfer everything. It scores existing positions using the receiver’s query and passes a budgeted subset. On Qwen 3 8B FanOutQA at 4× compression, strict accuracy was 55.3% versus 40.7% for same-size text, with median answer times of 192 versus 612 seconds in concurrent workload.
