About this paper
Yezhou Cheng, Zehua Yang, Bojun Lin
The signed lexical gate improves routing of fixed intent predictions by combining a sentence classifier’s confidence margin with word- and character-based evidence for its chosen intent. A logistic gate uses this signed evidence to rank requests without changing predicted labels. At a nominal 5% error target, BANKING77 coverage rises from 87.80% to 89.63%, and AURC falls on all three benchmarks.
