About this paper
Jinpeng Xu, Lin Zhou, Xin Xie, Mengyuan Zhang, Jingjing Wang
The authors jointly optimize a rotary-wing UAV’s trajectory and acceleration for covert communication, accounting for how acceleration determines the body-mounted directional antenna’s orientation toward Bob and Willie. In simulations, the dynamics-consistent design achieves the highest cumulative covert throughput among compared designs, while a point-mass model overpredicts its trajectory’s performance when re-evaluated with induced attitude. Results assume modeled conditions, not physical flight.
