BRIDGE estimates ranges of design properties by grouping soil samples into Cells, calibrating an Extended Cam-Clay model on a subset, and checking the ranges against held-out samples. Across three Tokyo-CLAY Cells, nominal 80% ranges based on calibration mean and standard deviation contained an average 83% of 133 held-out samples; coverage is within-dataset, and ranges can be wide.
