About this paper

Rui Liu, Tong Zheng, Jindong Gu, Zhipeng Wang

CARE certifies accelerated robot policies by measuring failures that occur when an accelerated policy fails an episode solved by its full-compute reference. It tests paired complete episodes across an equal-weight task mixture and selects the fastest candidate meeting a user-set risk budget, otherwise retaining the reference. On four LIBERO suites, CARE certified 9.02–10.81× speedups and simultaneous preservation lower bounds of 85.8%–95.7%.
