About this paper
Yutong Dai, Oliver Hayman, András Juhász, Ludovico Morellato
The authors build a search system that finds move sequences certifying upper bounds for unknotting number and slice genera. They compare three agent types; the mixed agent reaches 87.4% accuracy on the unknotting test at 800 units per link. The system finds routes using at most four crossing changes for connected sums, not exact values.
