About this paper

The authors use a human-written, staged specification to guide a coding agent in building an open-source Julia model of one-dimensional, steady-state silver-catalyzed CO₂-to-CO electrolysis in a porous gas-diffusion electrode. Three human-in-the-loop builds had an average CO partial-current RMSD of 2.27 mA/cm² against COMSOL at 44 potentials. A planted physical-assumption error remained undetected, so verification does not establish assumptions are correct.
