ME-DQAS reduces requested gate-parameter-gradient shots during quantum architecture search by identifying derivatives that are exactly zero and estimating some other eligible gradients with one shifted circuit instead of two. It leaves the objective and outer search unchanged. In paired simulations, 3-SAT required 0.5857 ± 0.0014 times baseline shots and completed 14.05 ± 0.04 updates versus 8.99 ± 0.02 under the same budget; results are not hardware measurements.
