PathPilot answers questions about whole-slide images by combining question-agnostic localization of diagnostically promising regions with a question-aware agent that tracks accumulated and missing evidence. The agent adaptively moves, zooms in or out, or stops. Across five open-ended QA cohorts, it reports average GACC improvements of 8.46% for internal cohorts and 9.03% for external cohorts.
