About this paper
Hao-Jen Chien, Wei-Lun Chao, Yu-Lun Liu
The authors introduce a sequence-wide scale correction for world-space human recovery in broadcast dance video. It estimates scale from intervals where performers appear stationary, then applies the correction across the sequence alongside physically grounded optimization (PGO). On 11 synchronized camera pairs, it reports 47.02 cm W-MPJPE versus 68.16 cm for GVHMR, using reconstructed—not motion-capture—reference poses.
