SoftCache uses accumulated cache staleness to trigger refreshes and set step size during diffusion and flow sampling. Greater headroom below the refresh threshold allows a longer step, which shrinks as refresh nears. On FLUX.1-dev’s 200-prompt DrawBench test, it runs at 5.44× speedup and leads SeaCache on four fidelity metrics against uncached outputs; these measure fidelity, not absolute image quality.
