SAMS organizes STL files as linked graphs, from vertices and edges to triangular facets and grouped surfaces. A user-set angle threshold controls facet grouping. The authors illustrate a possible shifted-vertex clue, conditional on shift size and threshold. Across 2,779 Thingiverse files, SAMS matched face and vertex counts with other packages and edge counts with PyMeshLab. This establishes mesh-count consistency, not attack detection.
