ADT encodes each protein residue as a discrete token carrying backbone and side-chain geometry, then uses a diffusion decoder to reconstruct atom-level coordinates. On held-out CASP14, its all-atom RMSD is 1.3157 Å, versus 3.4120 Å for DPLM-2 followed by cg2all without fixing the input backbone. This outperforms that pipeline, though atom-level methods achieve lower reconstruction error.
