About this paper

Ashray Saxena, Sharad Shrivastava

The authors map flutter in Isogai’s aerofoil with two-dimensional inviscid Euler simulations. They find multiple flutter speeds at one Mach number, and the fold closes as the elastic axis moves aft. Energy analysis links branch behavior to reduced frequency and mode shape; the upper-branch shock stays pinned at the trailing edge. In case A, 80 simulations label 64 of 65 independent runs correctly.
