About this paper

Mourad Derbedrosian, Michael Hobley, Pietro Perona

HaCKRS pairs consumer fishfinder sonar recordings with overhead camera views to aid interpretation of fish returns. Its dataset contains 105,362 matched frame-pair records across 3.3 hours and four configurations. Nearest-timestamp pairing retains matches within 100 milliseconds; median difference is below 8.5 milliseconds. It provides alignment metadata, not fish labels, and covers koi at one pond, leaving task performance and generalization unestablished.
