About this paper

Gizem Kayar

The method uses SPH’s smoothed color field to classify surface particles and an inner layer in solid simulations. It limits both groups’ stress contributions to other particles to hydrostatic, pressure-like stress. The authors report nearly doubled timestep sizes across presented scenes and prevention of unwanted crashes and forces, but provide no control comparison or quantitative measure of residual-stress reduction.
