Rehearsim lets researchers rehearse interview protocols with simulated participants before fieldwork, then inspect provisional themes linked to source quotes and questions. Researchers can edit generated material and decide what to revise. In a study of 21 qualitative researchers, 17 changed at least one protocol component. The study documents revisions, not improved protocol quality or evidence about real participants.
